Syllable D900 Mini, we reviewed these wireless bluetooth headphones

Wireless headphones are in fashion. More and more manufacturers offer their own solutions. I recently reviewed the LG Tone Infinim from the Korean manufacturer, now it's time to try the latest headphones from Syllable.

I'm talking about the Syllable D900 Mini, a wireless and independent in-ear headphones, do not use any type of connection between them. A curious and clearly focused gadget for sports people. Without further ado, I leave you with him Syllable D900 Mini wireless headphones review.

Syllable D900 Mini, this is the design of these sports headphones

Syllable D900 Mini with charging base

Before starting with the analysis of these in-ear headphones, I want to highlight the so curious unboxing of the Syllable D900 Mini. And it is that in the box come the instructions, a micro USB cable, a pair of replacement ear pads and a box to carry them that also serves to charge the headphones. Personally I have loved this system as the headphones charge while you transport them.

In terms of design, the Dyllable D900 Mini have a body made of rigid plastic and with a coating that simulates tempered glass giving these headphones a pretty premium look.

As you may have seen, these helmets have a intraural design and they have a wireless connection between both headphones, allowing total mobility. With a weight of 5 grams, the headphones do not bother at all and the truth is that they hold really well.

Syllable D900 Mini

I have gone out for a run with them on and at no time have I had the feeling that they were going to fall. The only but is that in principle they do not have resistance to liquids so they can end up being damaged by sweat.

Both the right and left earphones have a fairly large button with the brand's logo that is used to activate and synchronize them. In the case of the left earphone, if we press it for 5 seconds, the synchronization of the device with our phone or tablet will start, and by pressing 2 seconds we will turn the headphones on or off. In addition, this headset has a microphone that will allow us to answer calls.

Finally, pressing once either of the two headphones pauses or re-plays the song we are listening to. If I have missed something, it has been a system to change the song or to be able to control the volume of the headphones.

A sound that fulfills without great fanfare

Syllable D900 Mini membrane

Let's move on to the sound section. In this case I have to say that the Dyllable D900 Mini have 8-millimeter membranes to generate a balanced sound towards low frequencies.

With a 16 ohm impedance, the Syllable D900 Mini behave really well when we listen to music where the bass predominates, although in the case of songs with higher treble or where the voice is the predominant element, the headphones lose quality offering a poorer sound.

For this reason they have seemed like a good device to go to the gym or go for a run.. If you listen to cane music where the bass predominates, you will enjoy these headphones a lot.

Another detail that has disappointed me it is the volume since the Syllable D900 Mini sound a little low. This is not an excessively low sound, but in very noisy environments it can be difficult to listen to the music. Curiously, I have tested it on an Apple device and in that case it sounded much louder.

Autonomy

Syllable D900 Mini charging base

At the bottom of the headphones we find some small gold-plated metal connectors and that serve to load these helmets. For this, the manufacturer has included a curious transport case that also serves to charge the headphones through its pin system.

Say that this case has an internal battery of 35 mAh which guarantees between 4 and 5 full charges of the headphones. On one side we have a micro USB port to charge the transport case.

Regarding the autonomy of the headphones, say that The Syllable D900 Mini last two hours on and 52 hours on standby. A bit short of time for long trips but more than enough for a day at the gym or on the way to work.

In addition, the headphones have a very short charging time, only 30 minutes, so the wait until you use them again at a minimum.

Final conclusions

Syllable D900 Mini Charge

The Syllable D900 Mini are headphones with a very attractive design, in addition to being really comfortable to use thanks to its 5 grams of weight, holding perfectly on the ear.

El charging system is functional and attractive. But there are three flaws in these headphones: on the one hand, the sound quality in songs where the voice predominates, which drops significantly compared to the reproduction of songs where the bass predominates, where the Syllable D900 Mini behave much better. On the other hand we have a sound that is not excessively loud. And finally we have a limited autonomy since two hours can seem a bit short in certain situations.

Taking into account that you can buy these headphones through Amazon Spain or Amazon mexico for only 39.99 euros, I think they are a very good bet to take into account if you are looking for light, comfortable headphones that allow you to work or play sports without having to worry about the cables or the connection between the two headphones.

He believed that there is an error in the 35 milliamp thing, and that he can load 4 or 5 loads well, as not
I use the S530 (on eBay it is from 3 euros to 15) and as a podcast lover I find them great
Be sure that it does not fall off, as its design fits perfectly to the ear, without pads or anything
It lasts for 3 to 4 hours, and its battery is 50 milliamps
The only downside is that it is individual, but hey when I go for a run or at work, I like it and it is advisable to leave an ear to hear if cars are coming, ect ect
By pressing the button you answer calls, and if you are listening to music or podcast, when you press stop, you turn on
And all for 3 or 4 euros
Yes, if you have money left over, you can buy those on the block for 200 of them (this is where I burst out laughing)
    All the best

The volume cannot be controlled, but the passage of the song can, this is achieved by pressing the button on the earphone twice in a row, either left or right. I would love an app that solves the volume problem since at certain times in that song that breaks you in two the sound is very low.
