Sony Xperia XZ1, first impressions

Sony follow yours. The Japanese manufacturer has presented several terminals within the framework of the IFA in Berlin, which is being held this first week of September, showing a line of devices that maintains the manufacturer's continuous design.

We have already given you our first impressions after testing the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, now it is the turn of the most vitaminized model, the Sony Xperia XZ1, a phone with great hardware but that has excessively large frames and finishes that are not up to the performance of this phone.

Regarding the design, Sony has decided to keep the design omni balance lifelong. A design that is now obsolete and that, despite slightly rounding the edges, maintains increasingly less attractive curves.

To this we must add a body made of polycarbonate which further detracts from Sony's new phone. The only thing that can be saved would be the dedicated button for the camera, a trademark of the house, in addition to the on and off button of the terminal that also works as a fingerprint sensor.

Sony is not the same as before and still without hitting the table by changing the design of its line of phones. It seems that the manufacturer does not understand that, no matter how good hardware their terminals have, if they do not change the design it will be very difficult to regain the favor of the public.

Technical characteristics of the Sony Xperia XZ1

Technically the Sony Xperia XZ1 is a true beast. A high-end phone that has hardware that will allow you to move any game or application without problems. Taking a look at the technical specifications of the terminal and after having tested it at the Sony stand at the IFA in Berlin, it is clear that the phone will be able to move any type of application or game without major problems.

Special emphasis on its powerful rear camera, formed by a 19 megapixel lens and that offers some impressive captures. In addition, the Sony Xperia XZ1 camera brings two very interesting novelties: on the one hand we have the possibility to perform slow motion videos at 960 fps, an impressive data for a phone and on the other hand we have the possibility of capturing images in 3D. You just have to follow the simple tutorial of the Japanese manufacturer to be able to make, for example, a 3D photo of your face to insert it in different applications.

Two very curious options that are a small differentiator for the new range of Sony phones, Although in my opinion they are not enough to ask you about your purchase, especially seeing the solutions offered by your competitors, which are much more visually attractive.
