The Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra is now available in India

The mobile division of the Japanese company Sony has also shown increasing interest in what is one of the most important emerging economies in the world today, and with the highest expectations for future growth: India.

And as new proof of this growing interest in taking over a share of the smartphone user quota, Sony has unveiled the mid-range model of its recently updated 'X' series, the Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra, a side-by-side screen smartphone with virtually no borders.

The Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra arrives in India

In India, the number of mobile phone and mobile network users is growing steadily under the economic boost, however, there it is the mid and low range of mobiles that triumph. Aware of this, Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi and many other smartphone firms show more and more energy their interest in making a part of such a succulent cake. And of course, Sony, perhaps the firm with the greatest projection in the country of the rising sun, was not going to be less.

Sony's division in India has already announced the launch of the Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra, a smartphone that falls within what we call Midrange and that stands out mainly for its "edge to edge" screen layout, that is, almost without frames, and by a diamond-cut finish on its top and bottom, along with aluminum sides.

Among the main specifications of the Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra also stand out:

  • Operating System Android 7.0 Nougat
  • 6-inch Full HD screen With 1920 x 1080 resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection
