One of the novelties that came from the hand of Android 11 were the notifications in the form of bubbles. This functionality allows messaging applications to open floating windows in the form of bubbles with new chats, a functionality that very few applications have taken advantage of at the moment, Skype being one of the first after the launch of the latest update.
Microsoft has just released a new update to Skype for Android adding support for this functionality in all models that have been updated to Android 11So unless you have a Pixel or a Samsung S20 model, it is unlikely that you will be able to start using this curious method of displaying notifications.
The update that includes this new functionality is number 8.67, an update that is already available both through the Play Store and through APK Mirror. To activate this functionality, we must access the settings of our terminal (only with Android 11), Apps and notifications - Notifications and Bubbles. Once we have activated them, each new notification that we receive through Skype will be shown in the form of a bubble as shown in the image above of the guys from Android Police.
The Telegram messaging application has offered us for several months the bubble mode for sophistication, a mode that works independently of Android 11, since it is integrated into Telegram, although we must activate the available mode within the developer options so that the system recognizes them and they appear as bubbles on our device every time we receive one. This mode is the same that we also find on Facebook and Facebook Messenger, in which it is not necessary to update to Android 11.
