The Google Play Music service will turn off at the end of 2020, being replaced by YouTube Music. The Google application will disappear from the Play Store, so users will not be able to use it in just over three long months and it is time to get used to the quintessential tool, YouTube.
Google Play Music now allows the export of all our songs and playlists in the cloud to the YouTube Music platform. This is permissive from now on so as not to lose any of the files that we have and the American company is to be thanked.
Export your local playlists to M3U
If you usually use the Google Play Music player to listen to your songs from the MicroSD card, it is convenient that you save everything, even the created playlists. The latest version of Google Play Music lets you export local playlists just by going to option.
Check the version of Google Play Music and confirm that it is 8.26, otherwise you will have to update it to carry out this process in a few steps. In the Google Play Music settings look for the option to Export local playlists, this appears first within the "General" options.
The local playlists will be saved in the directory of the card, in this case it will do it in Storage / Emulated / 0 / Playlistexport. The files are created in M3U, so if you click on them you will have the complete list that you have been choosing as your favorite songs in the Google Play Music application.
