Samsung signs an agreement with Iming for the stabilization of existing video in the Mate 9

Vidhance

A press release that appeared in Swedish newspapers offers details about a new deal which is currently being reported for what would be a partnership between Imint and Samsung.

Imint is the company that is based on «the intelligence of the image»And that it has been developing its own suite of real-time video enhancement software for a variety of defense, aeronautical and industrial applications. 2012 was when the company ventured into real-time video enhancement in the mobile space.

The product in question it's called Vidhance And three of its main benefits are advanced video stabilization; Live Auto Zoom, with which you can choose a subject and the video software will follow; and Auto Curate, an algorithm that automatically edits long videos in short sequences, similar to what Google Photos does.

Samsung's deal with Imint explicitly excludes Samsung smartphones out of the equation, which means it won't be viewable on the Galaxy S8, although the deal could mean some company plans for some kind of camera that requires high-quality video stabilization.

It is curious that this software is currently on the Huawei Mate 9, specifically in the Mate 9 Porche Design variant, so it is not in all variants of this device. The presence of the video stabilization algorithm varies by country and on devices with EMUI 5.0.

It seems that Samsung is interested in approaching this company for what would be in the near future to reach an agreement for implement it on their smartphones, something that seems exclusive to Huawei and that would surely be part of the agreement between the Chinese and Swedish companies.
