The presentation of Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge It is just around the corner. On February 21 we will know all the details of the new generation of flagships from the Korean manufacturer.

Before the imminent arrival of Mobile World Congress, the largest telephony fair to be held in Barcelona from February 22 to 25, we are used to the details of new Samsung phones being leaked. And now a new report from AnTuTu shows us a very interesting detail between the two versions of the Samsung Galaxy S7.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 with Qualcomm processor will be 20% more powerful than the model with SoC Samsung Exynos 8890, according to the latest data from AnTuTu

AnTuTu

We have already seen the occasional report from the well-known benchmarks site where we could get a first idea of the power of the new generation of Samsung flagships. But now, through his profile on the well-known social network Weibo, the AnTuTu team has revealed the benchmarks of the Samsung Galaxy S7 in its Exynos version.

It seems that this model is the international version as it has been tested in France. And as they have published, the Samsung Galaxy S7 international model reaches 105.000 points in AnTuTu. Simply impressive, it demonstrates the incredible potential of the Seoul-based company's next flagship. But the Samsung Galaxy S7 with processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 is more powerful.

And it is that at the time some supposed AnTuTu benchmarks were published referring to the version of the AT&T operator of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, with serial number SM-G935A. This phone is technically exactly the same if we compare it with the conventional Samsung Galaxy S7, except for the screen that is slightly larger when going from 5.1 inches to 5.5 inches.

Even having the biggest screen, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor achieves a significantly higher score than the Exynos model: 125.288 points. A difference of more than 20.000 points with respect to the model that integrates the Samsung solution, which remained at 105.000.

Apparently, the big difference lies in the score given by the GPU. And is that Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor integrates an Adreno 530 graphics processor, a beast that will delight the most hardcore gamers. Recall that the Exynos 8890 processor has a Mali GPU - T880MP12 that, although it is true that it is a graphics processor with more than twelve cores, the generic ARM architecture is inferior if we compare it with the one used by the Adreno line, since it is personalized.

Anyway, regardless of the version of the Samsung Galaxy S7 that we are going to receive, whether with a Samsung Exynos processor or with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, what is clear is that the next generation of Samsung flagships is really going to be powerful, breaking the 100.000 point barrier on the well-known benchmark site AnTuTu.

Recall that in addition to a 5.1-inch, 5.5-inch screen for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, all models will have two versions, one with SoC Samsung Exynos 8890 and another model with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, the pretty girl from Qualcomm. If to this we add the 4 GB of DDR4 RAM together with different configurations with 32 GB, 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage expandable through its micro SD card tray, we are facing a really very complete phone. Y Waterproof so the rumors point!

Now we will have to wait for the presentation of both the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, which I remind you will take place on February 21 at 20:00 p.m. GTM + 1 and to know which version of the next generation of flagships will arrive to our country. Remember that, like every year, I will be in the  event covering it live so that you are the first to receive all the information from the presentation.
