Samsung has had its day, and boy has it rewarded us for the wait with the launch of the new Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy z fold 2 and Galaxy Tab S7 tablets, devices that are at the top of their segment as the best alternatives for the South Korean firm from now on.
The company, as we expected, also unveiled its new wireless headphones, which are the Galaxy buds live and now they take the title of the most advanced of the brand, since it has features such as active noise cancellation and AKG quality sound.
The new Samsung Galaxy Buds Live promise a lot
The Galaxy Buds Live, for starters, are the first from Samsung to offer an active noise cancellation feature, something that makes them strong rivals to Apple's AirPods Pro. These arrive as the third generation of the Galaxy Buds, so they are full of various improvements, according to the company itself.
The shape of these devices, as Samsung describes it, has "an iconic design with a comfortable fit that is unlike anything that has been seen or worn before." However, it is more colloquially compared to that of beans.
Thanks to the 12mm driver that is built into each earphone, the bass sounds they emit are quite accurate and loud, like the mids and highs. In turn, being certified by AKG, they promise a fairly high definition of sound.
Active noise cancellation function allows user to forget about outside noise, but there is also an option that makes it possible to be aware of your surroundings, being contrary to active noise cancellation.
Of course, Samsung's Galaxy Buds Live are compatible with the Bixby assistant, in addition to also having IPX2 grade water resistance and Bluetooth 5.0. In addition to this, they come with three microphones and a voice capture unit that allows better sending audio for calls and other tasks.
The battery of these headphones is 60 mAh, enough so that they can offer a continuous music playback for up to 5.5 hours. Thanks to the wireless charging case with LED indicator of charge level that they come with, which implements a battery of 472 mAh capacity, this time can be extended by up to 20 hours, which is summarized in up to almost four charges of 0% to 100% only through the case.
These come with a mobile application that allows you to configure and equalize them to your liking, which is complemented by the Find my Earbuds tool.
