Samsung extends the warranty of its QLED televisions worldwide to 10 years

Although it may be redundant, I have always thought that "Guarantee is synonymous with guarantee"In other words, when a manufacturer offers you a guarantee coverage that is higher than the legal minimum, my confidence in that product grows, while I think that the manufacturer also trusts that it has done a good job. By contrast, those who limit themselves to the legal minimum, and even fight to the last comma, at least, cause me some doubts.

Well, now Samsung wants to expand the confidence of its customers of QLED televisions and it does it precisely increasing the warranty period to 10 years globally. The measure stems from a promise made several months ago that first reached customers in South Korea and Europe, and then spread to the United States and Canada. Now there are no more distinctions and this coverage extends to the entire planet.

Samsung has been expanding the availability of its premium TVs to more markets around the world in recent months, so expanding the warranty to everyone is also a logical consequence. Last month, premium QLED TVs were launched in Brazil, and already then the company promised all customers that they would get a 10-year guarantee against the "burning" phenomenon.

Regarding this initiative, a representative from Samsung has stated that "with strong confidence in the performance of the QLED TV product, we offer a 10-year warranty for our QLED televisions around the world."

This 'burnout' phenomenon for which the warranty has been extended refers to the possibility that the screen appears as smudged, or that the image is not displayed correctly. This can be caused when the same image is repeatedly exposed to a single spot on the TV screen, such that the color does not display as it should and a spot appears on the screen.
