Runtastic PRO 2.0, your personal trainer on your Android.

Runtastic Pro 2.0 banner from Android Market

Runtastic Pro 2.0 is an application that serves to control and record the sessions and performance of your favorite sport or exercise. Apart from the classic sports of running, cycling (mountain and racing), walking, skiing, you can choose from a large list of sports including: horseback riding, «Nordic Walken», Snowboarding, snowshoeing, golf, biathlon, ...

To get the most out of the application you have to activate the smartphone's GPS, but it can also be used to record indoor sports (treadmill running, Pilates, aerobics, martial arts, ...).

You can adjust your favorite sport, the metric system to use, activate the on-line mode, so that you can see the progress in the game. map (uses Google Maps API), enable the altitude record, GeoTagging, pulsometer (you need Polar WearLink + Bluetooth or Zephyr HxR devices), configure your social media accounts.

Among the personal data that you have to configure, apart from your name, are the sex, the country (I can't quite understand what country you are from to register your exercises), the birthdate (this is more logical), as well as you height and weight.

Based on all these data and the conditions in which you carry out the session (which are entered at the end of it): temperature, climatic status and surface, it will calculate the calories you have burned.

The application is almost entirely in Castilian, so there is no problem in this regard for those who do not know English.

Once configured, as simple as hitting the "Start" button and starting to walk or run (or the sport of your choice).

On the screen you will see the times and 5 different types of information: speed km / h, speed min / km, calories burned, maximum speed, altitude differences.

In the registry you will be doing the partial kilometers per kilometer, recording times, altitudes, heart rate (with the appropriate additional device). Sessions can also be added manually.

Save the route maps that you have done in each session.

You can share your sessions and progress through Facebook or Twitter. You can also synchronize the information with the web www.runtastic.com to control the data from the PC.

Hello, for some time, every time I start Runtastic it asks me for my email address and password, when before it did not, it does not save the language and activity settings to be performed, so every time I start a session I have to download the language «Spanish» and introduce the activity that I am going to do. Does anyone know how to fix it? Thank you.

    Hello,

I've been using the Runtastic for the Galaxy s2 for a while now and haven't had a problem until a couple of weeks ago.
The gps traffic light turned red and since then I have not been able to fix it.
The clock starts p, but the other functions do not work. I have removed and reinstalled it, rebooted, etc…. and there is no way.
    Does anyone know the solution?
    Thank you
