Mediatek's Helio P75 will be the processor of the Redmi Note 9

Redmi Note 8

We were recently talking about the main characteristics and technical specifications that we will find in the Redmi Note 9 Pro. According to what user Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24) published through his Twitter account, this, among other things, will come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 720G mobile platform, which is one of the most powerful in the mid-range of the American semiconductor firm.

The new information that now comes to us has to do with the System-on-Chip of the Redmi Note 9, the standard variant in the new medium-duty series. One post, which was also posted on Twitter, suggests that Mediatek's Helio P75 will be the processor that will be housed under its hood.

The Redmi Note 9 was said to come with the Helio G70, a processor that was announced in January of this year and is presented as a good solution for gaming smartphones. This, as expected, is eight-core, which are grouped as follows: 2x Cortex-A75 at 2 GHz + 6x Cortex-A55 at 1.7 GHz. The chip is also 12 nm and comes with a Mali GPU. -G52 MP2.

The Helio P75 processor is one of which absolutely nothing concrete is known, and that's because it hasn't been announced yet, much less hinted at by Mediatek. However, the rumor mill says that this will be the SoC that the Redmi Note 9 will flaunt.

The information is from Xiaomishka (@xiaomishka on Twitter), an account known for posting information related to Xiaomi and Redmi, including leaks and other details. We are not sure if this signal is met, but It is possible that Redmi is planning to implement said mobile platform to the device. If so, we expect it to be, at the very least, better than the Snapdragon 665 we currently see in the Redmi Note 8.
