Like TENAA, the Chinese agency 3C often takes numerous smartphones to verify them and put their own seal of approval. This is responsible, among other things, for listing the specifications of the chargers of these, so it usually filters information about the fast charging technologies of the following devices to be launched, such as the Redmi Note 8.
This mobile is not that close to launch yet; it won't arrive in just a few days or a few weeks. Nevertheless, the fact that it will soon be making a presence in the market is imminent, and it would surely be being presented in the next few months; probably before January 2020, the date that corresponds to the launch of the Redmi Note 7.
Two new terminals have appeared on the 3C platform. One of them has support for 18-watt fast charging, and this is said to be the next Redmi Note 8 smartphone.

As such, China's 3C authority has certified an unknown Xiaomi phone with the M1908C3IE and M1908C3IC variants. The list reveals that the mobile can be equipped with an MDY-09-EK charger, which only supports 5V / 2A (10W) charging. This can be verified in the capture of the list posted above the regulatory entity's database.
The other phone has the model variants M1906G7E and M1906G7T. Its 3C certification reveals that it could ship with an MDY-10-EC charger that supports fast charging up to 18W. Probably, this smartphone could be the Redmi Note 8 or Redmi Note 8 Pro. Still, there is a possibility that it is a completely different device. Therefore, it is advisable to wait for more reports to confirm the exact identities of the M1908C3IE / C and M1906G7E / T smartphones, but the rumor mill is already flagging them as such smartphones.
