Soon the Redmi K series will have a new member, which will be its flagship and, as expected, it will arrive as Redmi K40. And it is that this smartphone is closer to its launch than ever, which is now confirmed through the new official poster of it that the firm has published.
The device will be made official on the market in less than a week, since February 25 is the scheduled launch date to see the light. That day we will know all the characteristics and technical specifications of the same, as well as the details of price and availability.

What we have now discovered from the Redmi K40 is that its rear camera system is triple and not quadruple as some media previously claimed by way of filtration and speculation. Here we would have a 64 MP resolution main sensor, although it is said that we could get a 108 MP one.

Another thing that is said about this terminal is that it will have the mobile platform Snapdragon 888, but various reports say that said SoC will only be available on the Redmi K40 Pro, so we will soon find out what is true and what is not. If it is false that the terminal will come with the aforementioned processor chipset, the Snapdragon 870 it would be the most viable option for the same.
Other features and specifications leaked by TENAA's test platform mention a 4.500 mAh capacity battery, AMOLED screen with FullHD + resolution and flat with integrated fingerprint reader and a hole in the screen to house the selfie camera, which could be 32 MP resolution.
There would also be a variant with the name Redmi K40S, but we will know this on February 25, which is the launch date of the device.
