Xiaomi just announced Redmi Smart TV MAX, a huge 98-inch television. The large size of this screen makes this model suitable for enjoying high definition channels, streaming service and is capable of playing Blu-Ray content in 4K with resolutions of 3840 x 2160 and 4096 x 2160 pixels.

The LCD panel has a 4K resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate, covers 85% of the NTSC color space, and has HDR compatibility. The image engine is of the ninth generation, adding a total of 20 technologies for image enhancement.

The Asian manufacturer has added a total of four speakers with Dolby and DTS decoding system. It has three HDMI ports, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth, two USB ports, one Ethernet port, and one S / PDIF output. There is the option of being able to connect a speaker system to take advantage of this large television that is close to cinema screens.
Availability and price
Redmi Smart TV MAX will be available from April 9 in China, it will initially be sold in retailers and specialty stores. The price of the 98-inch screen is about CNY 20,000 (2.600 euros at the change). They have not detailed if there will be a global launch of this new screen.
