Qualcomm receives approval from the American government to work with Huawei

Qualcomm Snapdragon

Since the American government announced the veto of Huawei, the Asian company has been deflating little by little, until it reaches a point where it raised leaving the mobile market not being able to work with any of its usual suppliers, being TSMC (the manufacturer of its processors who had put the icing on the cake).

Last August, Huawei announced that the Mate 40 range would be the last to launch with its own processors. Unable to continue working with TSMC, it was forced to turn to other processor manufacturers such as MediaTek, an Asian company, so you would not have any supply problems.

In recent weeks it seems that the American government is relaxing its position and has granted temporary permits for some companies that can work with Huawei. The last to get the go-ahead has been Qualcomm, so it would not be strange to see how the next generation of Huawei smartphones reaches the market with processors from the American company.

In this way Qualcomm joins AMD, Intel, Sony and Samsung, companies that have also received the approval of the American government although some of them do not have their official headquarters in the United States. But the problem of Huawei will remain the operating system.

While it is true that the new Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a fantastic terminal, no one risks recommending it for not using Google services. While it is true that it can be installed without any problem, overnight, it can stop working without any warning, and we would be forced to go back to using Huawei's operating system.

The problem with Huawei's operating system is that it is not compatible with WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter ... to name the most used applications around the world. With the arrival of Biden to the presidency of the United States, the veto is unlikely to change, since the Democratic Party supported the veto of Huawei.

Instagram and twitter work perfectly on a tablet without Google services. Specifically on a Huawei Mediapad M6 (from which I am writing)
    Faxñcebook I don't know, I don't use it.
