In an hour and ten Adobe MAX begins as one of the major events of this company that today brings us a new update for Premiere Rush with new video effects, content explorer and free assets such as video clips or graphics.
That is, from now on we will be able to enjoy high-quality content to use in our videos through Splice. An app called Premiere Rush for video editing which is very complete, although it is under a subscription after we have edited 5 free videos.
Premiere Rush on Android
While today the arrival of Illustrator to the iPad and Adobe Fresco to the iPhone is being announced (the latter app is capable of interpreting the experience of a brush with its bristles), Adobe has also had time to announce the news of an app video editing tool we have on Android: Premiere Rush.
Premiere Rush has been updated to receive new motion effects, a good number of free content in the form of audio clips and graphics, and what is a new interface to explore the content we have on our mobile.

The new graphics browser brings us to a full screen interface for selecting titles, transition graphics, and overlays. TO note that thumbnail images are twice in size to the ones we had in the previous Premiere Rush interface. We even have the ability to see the preview larger from the "more" button.
We can access this new interface from graphics button and that replaces the previous "titles" button. Of course, we have all those graphics that expand the possibilities in this video editing app for our Android phones.
New royalty-free content thanks to Splice
We make a special mention of Splice, as it has partnered with Adobe to bring us an audio library with music themes, audio samples, and sound effects. That is if we look for that catchy tune for the video that we are creating, we can pull from that library that surely provides us with what we are looking for; do not miss the subscription audio library of Loudy Soundtracks.
And while that content is free and royalty-free, can only be enjoyed by those who have an active subscription to Premiere Rush. That is, if you don't have it and you only want to use it for those first free videos, you will have to pull from your local music library to spice up your compositions.
We got that new screen to add songs supplied by Splice from the + button and then that other for «Audio». So we can get our new videos ready with Premiere Rush.
New video transitions
If we go to the Adobe Premiere Rush effects menu, we will meet the new motion effects and those new transitions that add more variety when composing those video sequences with this app.
All the three new transitions are Push, Slide and Wipe and they can be configured in such a way to change the speed of the movement or the direction of the entrance or exit of each of these transitions.
We put the accent on a new motion effect called «Pan and Zoom» and that it will serve us in many moments to create a special effect at the entrance of another shot to the sequence.
This new version of Premiere Rush It comes today with all those news for an app that uses a Creative Cloud subscription model.
