Niantic hit the ground running with the launch of Pokémon GO, one of the games that has reported the most benefits, almost 900 million dollars in 2019. In this 2020 the company announces that in six months it has even a greater profit in the first six months, therefore it is still just as important as past year.
Just a few months ago the company confirmed that it will stop supporting 32-bit Android phones from the month of August, the least negative news. The next update of Pokémon GO will require one more step, having Android 6.0 or a higher version if you want to play it.
The new update arrives in October
Pokémon GO broke the record for game downloads by having 1.000 billion, becoming one of the most successful titles on the different platforms. Pokémon GO uses augmented reality to play and will make us move to different places to locate monsters of all kinds.
So if you want to play this new update you will need a phone with a 64-bit processor and at least Android 6.0 or a higher version, Android version 5.0 Lollipop or earlier are left without being able to test it. This will affect quite a few users around the world, but it is a decision made and weighed down.
Niantic wants to take a leap, It is surely of quality and wants those users to have a phone that squeezes the graphic power of a video game that is still as popular as it was when it came out. Pokémon GO is a real money-making machine and with this update they promise to improve what has already been seen, although they do not give any clue where the shots are going.
