Google is somewhat stained in the industry, and it is due to the numerous drawbacks that its smartphones usually present since their launches. This is what happened in the Pixel 3. Of course, the faults they have presented have been solved progressively, each time they have arisen, through updates.
However, the company always has a new opportunity to launch better flagships and rekindle trust among users who think their phones will always be flawed. With the next Pixel 4, of which we will talk to you next since the first leaks have emerged, the firm really intends to have a positive impact on its name and on the market.
Despite the lack of official confirmation about the company's next-generation Pixel phones, including the Pixel 3 Lite, which is scheduled to hit store shelves ahead of Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, the first rumors and renders of these high-performance devices have now come to light.
It's no secret that Google still has a long way to go, when it comes to smartphone design trends. On Thursday, a user of Slashleaks shared a sketch of what is touted as Google's new Pixel 4 XL design. The design in question appears to retain the company's overall design identity from the well-received Pixel 3 line. Plus, it houses a dual-lens camera on the back.
On the front, the phone sports a full-screen design including a dual-lens punch camera, like the one found in the Galaxy S10+ recently presented, as can be seen.
In the renders we can clearly see artifacts that span the 'G' logo and also around the front, as well as rear-mounted camera components. Sadly, images of actual Pixel 4 XL prototypes are not expected to make any appearances on the internet any time soon. If Google sticks to tradition, The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL could hit stores in October this year.
