OxygenOS 10.3.3 in its final version now available for the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T

OnePlus 6T

Updates on Android smartphones have always been a problem, a problem that Google has tried to solve but it seems that manufacturers do not have much interest, since otherwise, the Project Treble that Google created a couple of years ago, would have been more than enough for all Android terminals will be updated quickly.

Google's Project Treble allows manufacturers to deal solely and exclusively with the personalization layer of their terminals, since it is Google itself who is responsible for making compatibility with each and every one of the components that we can find inside.

OnePlus 6T

The last terminal that has been added to the list of smartphones that will not receive more Android updates is the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. Both models already have at your disposal the latest version of the OnePlus customization layer, the number 10.3.3.

The company has ensured that both terminals will continue to receive security updates (same process that Samsung does). This latest update fixes various bugs (such as random black screens and has included improved support for VoLTE / VoWiFi). It also includes the security patch for the month of April 2020.

It should be noted that in this update some of the features that were in the beta are missing which was launched in February, such as improved support for using the terminal with one hand and account synchronization for Zen mode, so if you are in the beta phase of this version of Oxygen, you can forget about these functionalities.

If you haven't received this update yet, you can download manually through the links that I leave below.

Once you have downloaded the image of this update, you must perform a Backup, so as not to lose the data stored in your terminal in case the process fails during the installation.

Next you have to transfer the file to your terminal, go to Settings> Updates system, click on the gear wheel and click Local update selecting the file that we just copied.

I have the Oneplus 6 and the update was made to 10.3.3 and from that moment it began to give a failure on the screen, when turning on or placing the finger for the fingerprint and waking up the screen, you see a fast light like lightning, and when is loading the screen darkens, it remains black and must be restarted to reactivate it, I want to return it to the previous version that was 10.3.0 that did not give that error, but when trying to do it it does not stop because it is an older version I know if they are going to send an update to fix that problem. Hopefully you can help us. I don't know if the same thing is happening to other people, and try not to install the update until they fix it. Thanks
