It looks like Oppo may announce a new line of smartphones soon. An image of an upcoming phone called "Oppo T1" has emerged on the web. The poster reveals that the phone will be powered by the mobile platform Snapdragon 855 from Qualcomm.
The image shows only the top half of the phone and a rough translation of the text on the sign that reads "Snapdragon 855 Youth Flagship." The notchless display extends to the top and there is a slot in the frame for the speaker. The volume control buttons are on the left side of your frame. Since there is neither a notch nor a hole, Oppo T1 is believed to have a pop-up selfie camera.
The specifications of the smartphone have also been leaked. According to the source, the Oppo T1 has a 6.39-inch diagonal OLED screen with an unspecified resolution, although it would be FullHD +. Your selfie camera is a pop-up sensor or pop-up 12 MP with AI beauty mode, while a 48 MP ultra-clear camera sits on the rear. The rear camera is said to support a super night scene mode, a new portrait mode, and a macro mode. The phone also has Game Mode 3.0. (Find out: OPPO officially presents its 10x optical zoom)
The terminal is also quite affordable for an Oppo phone, even taking into account that the company tends to launch mobiles with excellent value for money. Its starting price is 2,499 yuan (~ $ 372 or 328 euros) and this version has 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. For 2,799 (~ $ 416 or 367 euros), you can buy the model with 128GB of storage but with the same RAM as the previous one. If you want more RAM, the 8GB + 128GB version will cost you 3,099 (~ 461 or 406 euros).
The new Oppo T series will rank between OPPO's R series of upper mid-range phones and the series premium Find, which according to the company's vice president is the Find X series. No news yet on the device's release date. We will know more details about it soon.
