Oppo has been consistently offering more screen real estate on its 'R' series of smartphones. This family of phones has presented an increase in the screen-to-body ratio after each launch, so we can say that the company plans to improve this factor even more in it.
It is very likely that the Oppo R19, the next flagship of the Chinese brand, have a perforated screen like the Samsung Galaxy A8s or Honor View 20, and this is said to that recently the firm applied for two patents with the title "Mobile phone with application icon interface".
The description that fuels this speculation does not describe anything more than a perforation screen, and has been detailed in documents of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
Oppo registered patent
The screen layout seen in the rendered images reveals the presence of a selfie camera in the upper left corner of the front panel. The camera app overlays the selfie sensor, and then there are four other apps. Swiping to the right of the camera will show those other apps, but the camera icon will always stay in the same place.
The rear design of the phone has antenna bands placed on the upper and lower edges of the rear panel, as can be seen well.
Oppo registered patent
A configuration of horizontal dual camera with LED flash it sits on the top left of the back case, while a fingerprint scanner is also available on the back of the phone. The bottom edge of this has an external speaker, a charging port, and a 3,5mm audio jack. Yes OK all this data could belong to the Oppo R19, it is not something that can still be assured.
