The Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A90 5G Samsung are welcoming you to a new software update. This one arrives as expected and much longed for One UI 2.5, which is already available in numerous terminals of the South Korean firm and that is now beginning to be offered in the aforementioned models with Android 10.
The firmware package is not yet available worldwide. At the moment, it is being offered in some undetermined countries, but the simple fact that it has already been launched for numerous units and users reveals that sooner than later it will be launched globally for them, and that soon more smartphones from the brand will get the same update.
The Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A90 5G receive One UI 2.5 through a new update
As described in the portal Gizmochina, the build for the former is currently in Sri Lanka with the firmware version 'A505FDDU5BTL1' and the December 2020 security patch. On the other hand, the build for the latter is being rolled out in South Korea with the version of firmware 'A908NKSU3CTL3'.
As far as new features are concerned, these phones have the same feature set as the other Galaxy A and Galaxy M series phones like WiFi connection speed, WiFi password request, Bitmoji stickers such as AOD styles (always display active), new improvements to the Samsung keyboard, professional video function in the Camera app and SOS functions in Messages.
We expect the One UI 3.0 update for the Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A90 5G to be released globally very soon, which should take place in a matter of days. We will get more details about it soon. You can check your mobile settings to see if you already have it.
