There are several relationships between tech companies that are quite evident by how well they get along. One is LG with Google, and the latter with HTC. The three companies have fed back by diverse interests that have come together in certain products that have been very successful. HTC at the beginning of Android launched wonderful terminals, and LG did the same with the Nexus series, apart from being one of the important in the market for smartphones with the most installed OS for mobile devices on the planet.
If we have known a while ago that Hugo Barra moves from Xiaomi to Facebook as head of Oculus VR, Facebook's virtual reality, we now know that Google has recruited a new chief designer for your mobile Daydream VR platform. Claude Zellweger, who was a major role in HTC's Vive design team and played another big role in HTC's smartphone design language, has taken to Twitter to reveal the news.
HTC has confirmed that Claude Zellweger has left the company and appreciates your considerable contribution to HTC. If we look at HTC's history, in 204 it lost its head of design who gave the company many wings, Scott Croyle, and who switched to the next cloud-focused smartphone Nextbit. In less than a year, Jonah Becker went on to lead industrial design at Fitbit. The two were participants in HTC's beginnings when their design company, One & Co, was acquired by the Taiwanese manufacturer back in 2008.
