Look, we have seen a lot of minimalist launchers, but none like OLauncher, since it takes that concept to its maximum expression with that main text and, of course, the wallpaper you have in the background.
It is a new app launcher that we liked because of how simple it is and because it doesn't really take us through a lot of menus to customize and such. We simply have 4 apps in text form in the center of the screen, the clock in the upper left and the possibility of making two side gestures, let's get to it!
Minimalism in its pure essence
In fact with OLauncher, when you launch it for the first time (it is not in Spanish), you will see 4 texts that say "select". Press one and the extensive list of apps that we have installed on our mobile will appear. We select an application, and we will have the first of the 4 home apps.
We configure the rest and we already have the 4 shortcuts to 4 apps. Yes it is true that we can select a greater number from the OLauncher settings, but at first it is all very sparing to be in essence pure minimalism.
On the other hand, we have two lateral gestures that serve us one to launch the phone app and the other for the camera app. These two entrances o gestures can be customized to launch the app we want. But if we have the phone on one and the camera on the other, his would be to use WhatsApp, although you can count on the quick access panel and the notifications panel from another downward gesture.
A free launcher called OLauncher
We have another gesture and it is to launch the list of apps from below. That is, on each side of the screen we have two gestures assigned and that we cannot modify, and the sides to customize as we want.
If we already do one long press we will go to the OLauncher settings, just as sparing as the rest of the application. Here we can change the number of apps we have on the home, the possibility of modifying the wallpaper on a daily basis, double-click to lock the phone, alienation of the home to the left or right, the color of the text and the two gestures to customize such as They are the left and the right with the apps that we want.
And there is no more. This is OLauncher and it is itself the most minimalist launcher we've ever seen. It is true that the sea of good is left and if we have a cool wallpaper, as it happens with Bulma from Dragonball, having there are several apps with their texts and the clock, gives it its that when we are used to launchers with a multitude of icons, widgets and more.
We have to know that we are in the first iterations of OLauncherSo there is plenty of room for improvements and possible additions. Logically you need a wallpaper that harmonizes well with the text in white or black, so while they bring us more options in the color palette, we have to look for one that fits.
