Official LinageOS if it allows to play Pokemon Go and applications that do not work in rooted terminals

If you were hesitating to update your Android terminal using one of those sensational cooked Roms from the LinageOS team, the old Cyanogenmod, because it does not allow compatibility, for example to play Pokemon Go or applications that prohibit the use of rooted terminals such as apps of playback of streaming content like HBO Spain. How can you see in the video that I have left you at the beginning of the post, now with the official version of LinageOS 14.1, specifically the nightly version of February 6, 2017, you can now run Android applications and games that were previously denied to us by the simple fact of being root users. This is the case that I show you in the video itself in which I run without problems from my LG G2 with official LinageOS the original Pokemon Go game in its latest official version downloaded directly from the Google Play Store.

Likewise, so that you can see that this happens with any type of app, I also show you how well Amazon Prime video is going now, an app that, as with Pokemon Go, we were not allowed to use it through rooted terminals.

How do I update my Android terminal to the latest version of Official LinageOS

So that everything goes smoothly and we do not have any kind of application compatibility problem, the installation or update to official LinageOS we are going to do it in a clean way as if we were installing the Rom for the first time, so we are going to carry out a complete Wipe from the Recovery TWRP or the modified Recovery that you are using, checking before that it is compatible with LinageOS, and without deleting or wiping the partition where we have the necessary files for flashing and installation of the Rom.

If you have made the mistake of updating to the new version of the nightly of the 13th that jumps to us from the option of automatic updates incorporated in the Rom, surely you are anchored in the problem of constant reboots in Recovery mode. To solve this compatibility error, you just have to click on the Advanced or Advanced option of the modified Recovery, Select option terminal and type these lines of code that I leave you below:

• dd if = / dev / zero of = / dev / block / platform / msm_sdcc.1 / by-name / photo Click Enter.
• dd if = / dev / zero of = / dev / block / platform / msm_sdcc.1 / by-name / misc Click Enter.
• Reboot Click Enter.

With this your terminal will restart and you will be back in the old version of the Rom without having installed the OTA or latest nightly.
