As planned, the guys at Epic Games have just released a new Fortnite update, with which the game reaches chapter 2 of the second season, the second season that was a radical change in the map in addition to implementing new scrolling mechanics that not everyone liked.
The theme of this new chapter is related to espionage and throughout the season we will have to carry out missions for the two sides that want to take over the island: Ghost and Shadow. According to the trailer, depending on who the winning side is, the fate of the island can change forever.
This new season offers us new characters on which this new chapter of the second season of Fortnite will revolve and among which we find Midas, the bad guy who turns everything he touches into gold (inspired by King Midas from Greek mythology). Miaúscula is another of the characters, a man with the head of a cat, Maya, who has the ability to transform into other characters to camouflage and TNTine, which as its name indicates (TNT) is an expert in explosives
Battle pass
With the arrival of a new chapter, a new battle pass also arrives, battle pass that we can buy with the coins we got in the previous battle pass, as long as we have not spent them on any skin, peak, dance or accessory.
This new battle pass has the same price as the previous ones, 950 turkeys and we will receive 1500 turkeys in exchange to spend on the next battle pass, in skins, accessories or any other type of cosmetic element that does not affect the ability of the players. The battle pass of chapter 2 season 2 will be available until next April 29, the date on which chapter 3 will be released, as long as Epic Games is not forced to extend its duration as it has happened with chapter 1.
