The company behind Nokia, HMD Global, has several launches on its hands. The closest is the Nokia 2.2, a mobile that was already presented in India as the cheapest with Android One to receive Android Q.
The other two smartphones that will also be released are 5G. These will be announced anytime in the next quarter. Therefore, between July and September we will be getting to know the company's first mobiles with 5G support. What can we expect from them?
One of the devices that will have 5G support will be the successor to the Nokia 9 Pureview, the current flagship with Snapdragon 845 from the Finnish company that has fallen short in performance, compared to the other flagship of other brands that have opted for Snapdragon 855, the flagship SoC of the moment that competes against Huawei's Kirin 980 and Apple's A12 Bionic.
Nokia 9 Pureview
The other 5G mobile will be the successor to the Nokia 8.1 (also known as Nokia X7), according to the report of Nokia Power User. Because of that, it will likely be called Nokia 8.2, to honor the succession.
For now, we do not have more information about it. However, we can speculate that the successor to the 9 Pureview will come with much better features and specs than this one. Can we expect the same in the photographic section? Maybe yes, maybe not ... Let's remember that this one has five cameras in its rear module. Even so, it does not rank as one of the first mobiles with the best photographic section. The firm will surely optimize this department, as more was expected from this terminal in that sense.
Regarding the Nokia 8.2, it must be taken into account that the 8.1 came with the Snapdragon 710 processor. With that in mind, we can anticipate that, at the very least, it will come with a more powerful mobile platform, although from the same 700 series...
