These will be the Nexus that will be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Android-6-0-marshmallow

It was an open secret that Google was going to present two Nexus models but all the details were missing. Finally, the internet giant has shown the world the Nexus 6P manufactured by Huawei and the Nexus 5X in this case from LG. But now it's time to talk about Android 6.0.

And it is that Google has also announced which Nexus terminals were going to be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. And we bring bad news: the Nexus 4 will not receive the latest version of Google's operating system, at least officially.

Nexus 5, 6, 7, 9 and Nexus Player will receive Android 6.0

Nexus 6P

During the presentation of Android 6.0 Marshmallow Google has confirmed that both the Nexus 5, 6, 7 (2013) 9 and Nexus Player will receive Android 6.0 throughout the next week. The guys from Mountain View are expected to start rolling out the update starting next Monday, October 5, so we can expect all the Nexus phones on the list to be updated in about two weeks. And the Nexus 4?

Well it seems that Google already gives it up for dead. While it is true that it complies with its policy of updating phones for 18 months, I find it a real shame that this device is not going to receive the latest update of the Google operating system.

The Nexus 4 is a great phone  with features that allow you to move Android 6.0 M without any problem. We will have to wait and see if Google surprises us by launching the update for the Nexus 4 in the future, although I fear that those users who have this magnificent phone will have to wait for the first cooked ROMs that integrate the latest version of Google's operating system to arrive.

Nexus 6

A real shame and, in my opinion, a Google mistake to leave thousands of users stranded of such an emblematic telephone that marked a before and after in the telephony market thanks to its incredible value for money.

I can understand that this is a maneuver to force customers to buy new Nexus phones, but I still think that They would have to offer the ability to update the Nexus 4 to Android 6.0.

What do you think? Do you think the Nexus 4 should receive the update to Android 6.0 M or considering

Of course, you should update the NEXUS 4. Especially considering that the update to Lollipop, instead of improving the terminals, has made them worse. I also have a 7st gen NEXUS XNUMX and I had to uninstall it and go back to KitKat because I was not able to move it at all. An Android poop, which has then been supplemented by exorbitant price increases.

I have a Nexus 4 16GB and it lasts a long time, because I am not going to buy another one again, unless Google returned to its previous pricing policy. And still, I would think about it because there are Chinese mobiles today that far exceed Google's flagships. By the time XIAOMI launches MI5, Nexus sales are over. Time to time
