As part of the Build 2016 conference, Microsoft has rolled out a new feature to its messaging app that we all know from Skype. Called Skype Bots, this new functionality is described by the company as a «new way to bring products, services and entertainment in your daily Skype messages ».
Another interesting feature since the previous update integrated group video calls from the app for mobile devices and which has added higher quality as a whole so as not to be left behind before the attempt of other apps that they are making it very difficult.
The company, well known to all and based in Redmond, demonstrated the new feature to the public by showing Cortana integrated into a Skype client where the virtual assistant acts as a Skype Bot to help users identify people, places and all kinds of interesting things in your messages, while providing information about them.
Apart from this special functionality, the Skype Bot will be able to perform other types of tasks, which includes calendar management, travel and hotel reservations. A Skype Bot that will be available through messaging, although Microsoft has mentioned that, in the near future, it will also be available for video and audio calls.
