A new device from the Chinese manufacturer is getting closer to being on the market, it is the Huawei Mate 8. This terminal would be added to the family of smart devices that the company has. The device would be the natural replacement for the current Huawei Mate 7, a terminal that has been on sale for more than a year.
This new device will be a phablet with good manufacturing materials that will make it a premium terminal. At least that's what can be seen in the new leaked images. In them you can see the final appearance of the terminal which, judging by the images, will have a metal body, a front part with hardly any side frames on the screen and speakers on the front and back of it. We know that the leaks give us an idea of what the device will be like, both in terms of hardware and software. In this latest leak of the Huawei Mate 8 we can see how the terminal will incorporate three capacitive buttons at the bottom of the front of the device. These buttons, curiously enough, are the Android 5.0 Lollipop usage buttons, and are located below the screen, on a 1 cm thick black line, which makes the terminal look like it has more screen. If the images are true, the new Mate 8 will have a different design compared to its little brother.
Regarding the specifications that are rumored about the new Chinese terminal, it stands out its 6 ″ inch screen with a resolution of 2.560 x 1440 Quad HD, an eight-core processor manufactured by the same company, the Kirin HiSilicon 930. In the photographic section we find that the device will mount a 20,7 Megapixel rear camera with the famous IMX220 sensor that will provide us with great quality in the photographs taken with the device. Among other important features we find that it will come with LTE/4G connectivity, a fingerprint reader on the back of the terminal and its operating system will be Android 5.0 Lollipop.
At the moment little else is known about the device, so we will have to wait for another leak about it to discover its RAM memory, internal storage as well as other specifications. Regarding its presentation, it could be during the next month of June, and its price would be approximately 500 euros. We will finally see what this new device will incorporate and see if Huawei really decides to take its next phablet outside of Asia.
