Telegram has been adding many new features over the months that make it a really necessary application for our day to day. The tool launched by Pavel Durov in 2013 has taken a step forward and is growing by leaps and bounds, reaching almost 100 million downloads in just a few weeks.
One of the options quite used since its incorporation are voice chats, a utility to keep in touch with all the contacts in a group as if it were your own call. Now it comes with great improvements, including being able to give or remove volume to certain people, mute for me and other new features.
Volume in voice chats and more
One of the important novelties is to be able to give or remove volume in voice chats, we can go from 0 to 200, with the maximum it is quite probable that it will saturate. With this, it is possible to listen to certain people with a fairly low sound level and it is an important point to highlight.
Apart from being able to lower or raise the volume we have another option which is interesting, the ability to "Silence for me" to any of the contacts on the call. This can be used in cases of wanting to silence those people who are creating noise or those who do not want to listen for some reason.
Another thing that voice chat now allows is to visit the profile directly by including a shortcut, once you click it will send you to the contact's image. In addition, you can access the information, send a private message and everything that could be done up to now.
Many more features
One of the important options is to be able to import chats from other applications, among them you can transfer the conversations from the WhatsApp app to Telegram with this tutorial. It also has support with other applications, so you will be able to pass the LINE and Kakaotalk chats in a traced way to keep everything: Text, images, videos and other files.
The bar will show the option to join the voice chat if there is at least one participant in the voice chat, if there is not one you can go to the voice chat from the new icon in the group profile. Among the new options is being able to send a new message and greet new users who join with a suggested message or sticker.
Other changes
The calls section has been redesigned, now you can delete the records on both sides, redesign when inviting with a link in a group / channel, new animated icon to select the profile photo or when creating a channel / group and new icon in the button to change chat background.
Now there is the option to be able to delete a group for all members, new option that will allow to eliminate all the secret chat on both sides, new voice and video call bar redesigned as for voice chats, new bar to add members when creating a group, a window will open where you can select contacts, search or copy a link.
New tooltips have been added when copying a message from the menu, when sending a message to Saved messages, to any chat or chats, when changing the playback speed of audios of several minutes and voice messages, when touching an imported message, changing between notifications or in a new post in the channel.
Finally, one of the important ones is the new option to report as a fake (false) amount, display of the fake tag in the profile and a warning. New message at the end of the "All" tab which will suggest you touch the pencil to start a new chat and a new option in the player to open it in full screen.
Other news that will arrive very soon
After the new changes in voice chat, one of the long-awaited news is to be able to make a group video call on Telegram, but this is planned for the next few weeks. The month of January was indicated for his arrival, but everything indicates that we will see him from next month.
But this will not be the only and important novelty, Telegram will launch new features over the next few months that we can test in the Beta version before the stable one. Changes from Beta to Stable is a few weeks before taking the leap and polishing the possible bugs that arise.
