Mystic Hammer is a new game for Android like a tower defense Plants vs Zombies, although with a more medieval and RPG theme. That is, we will even have the ability to improve our units in combat, which gives it a very special point.
But we warn first, which is not in spanish, so you will have to pull the dictionary or Google Lens to take screenshots and understand how the basic units work. Although it is true that they have many similarities with some of Plants vs Zombies. Go for it.
Put your units in the right place
Mystic Hammer is a game that is free of charge, and although it has hardly any reviews, we found it to be interesting enough to be a quite acceptable alternative in case you miss a game like EA Games.
We will start play through levels in which you teach us the basics and the main abilities of those units that we will be unlocking. We start with an archer and another unit to generate coins that will allow us to place more units in those defensive rows.
By the time we are ready, the enemies will start to appear from the right side to go straight to our castle if we don't avoid it. So much so, that we must put two or three archers so that they can eliminate them without much trouble.
Play 50 levels and 120 waves in Mystic Hammer
The main difference to the aforementioned is that in Mystic Hammer we will be able to improve the skills of the units in full combat. As they eliminate more enemies, their experience will increase until that little button appears with the level up that we have to press.
It is the RPG part that touches Mystic Hammer so that we will work on it more than just placing the units in those rows. Past the the first two levels will unlock the rest of the rows so that the party of waves begins.
They will be a total of 120 waves and 50 levels which we can complete if we finish the game. It is very clear that we are facing an indie game in which there are many things to polish, but that in general is not bad enough.
An interesting alternative
After those years when we had alternatives to Plants vs Zombies, apart from the deliveries released by EA Games, Mystic Hammer is a tower defense that at first can disappoint, but if we dig a little deeper into its mechanics, it is quite interesting.
Visually it is quite simple, and you can save your character design, but little else. The interesting thing about this tower defense is the degree of addiction that can cause with those waves and numerous enemies on the screen so that we are locating our combat units.
Mystic Hammer is a game that is free from the Play Store to be a more than acceptable alternative in case we miss this type of game.
