Motorola has a new smartphone in its vast repertoire. This comes as the Moto G8, the expected medium-performance mobile that we have been anticipating for several months and already has an official launch, so we now know all its characteristics and technical specifications in depth, as well as the details of prices and availability in the market.
Many of the past leaks are consistent with what we have received from this model. Therefore, surely you already look familiar with what Lenovo has achieved in this new opportunity.
Everything about the Motorola Moto G8
To begin with, We find several similarities with the Moto G Stylus and Moto G8 Power, two medium-performance mobiles from the company that were launched last month. At the aesthetic level, it seems that the Moto G8 leans more towards the appearance of the Moto G Stylus, since it is practically identical, both in its back and in the front. As for the Power version, it distances itself a bit from this due to the photographic module, which is not the same as that of these two phones; yes, since it also has a perforated screen, it is presented as a very similar model.
The screen of the new Moto G8 is IPS Max Vision technology and has a diagonal of 6.4 inches. Unfortunately, it does not produce a FullHD + resolution; instead, it is stuck in HD + of 1,560 x 720 pixels (19: 9), thus generating a pixel density of 282 dpi. This could be a counterproductive point for sales. When Xiaomi launched the Mi A3 with an HD + screen, despite the fact that it was AMOLED technology, much discontent was generated among a large number of consumers who expected this phone. Hopefully this will not be repeated with this mid-range from Motorola and the perforation on the screen, which is located in the upper left corner of this, helps it.
El Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 de is the mobile platform that powers the device together with an Adreno 610 GPU. This is eight-core and is divided as follows: four Kryo 260 cores at 2.2 GHz + four Kryo 260 cores at 1.8 GHz. In addition, it is supported by a 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage space, which can be expanded by using a microSD card. It also has a 4.000 mAh battery, of which it is not known if it has any fast charging technology since Motorola did not announce anything about it; However, this is capable, according to the manufacturer, of offering a charging autonomy of up to 40 hours, although it did not specify under what conditions and with how much use.
The triple rear camera that the Moto G8 has is housed in a photographic module that is positioned vertically in the upper right corner. The main sensor, which is 16 MP and has aperture f / 1.7, is alone, next to the LED flash and above the other two cameras, which are a 2 MP macro lens (f / 2.2) and another 8 MP 118 ° wide-angle lens (f / 2.2). The fourth hole is not another trigger; it's actually for the laser autofocus module. The selfie camera, meanwhile, is 8 MP (f / 2.2) and we find it in the perforation of the screen, of course.
Android 10 (practically stock) comes with Moto Experiences and Moto Gametime, a function that is dedicated to optimizing the user experience when playing games.
