More problems for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, now problems with GPS positioning

There is no doubt that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 es one of the best terminals of the moment and that is why its good reception and its large number of terminals sold throughout the world.

In another post I already explained the great list of problems that users who update our Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to the latest official version of Android that came to us thanks to Samsung via OTA, which is none other than the expected and desired chocolate version of A.

Now the word is spreading through different Android development and research forums such as those of XDA o Android Central, such as Samsung Galaxy Note 3 models belonging to the operator AT&TAfter the last official update to Android 4.4.2, they are unable to use their GPS since it does not finish fixing a signal or simply spends all the time looking for satellites that it cannot find.

If we add all this to the great list of bugs in this official update to Kit Kat we can see first hand and thanks to your own reports, that this official update from Samsung has become a real botch. Some reports that you can check with your own eyes in the comments on this post which include the many complaints from all users who ran to update the Notes 3 a Android Kit Kat.

Still waiting for a solution from Samsung now the users of AT&T with these various reported problems regarding the correct positioning of their GPS.

Let's hope Samsung gets down to business at once and correct all these mistakes at once so that all the users who trusted them spending a good dough on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, we can at least use our expensive terminals without having to go through the ordeal that they are putting us all through.

My Note3 updated to Kitkat via OTA from Telcel, has been in the Samsung service center in Mexico for 5 days and nobody can make the GPS work with this version of Android.

Hello, I have the Note 3 and since it was updated it does not grab a GPS signal suddenly but for a very short time about 2 minutes and the signal is lost again and it is not the area because with the S3 that does not happen and I put them at the same time. Let me fix it soon as I am very expensive so that it does not work.

I still can't use the GPS, it searches and searches but it never connects.

Will they ever fix it or do I take it to the Samsung SAT with the warranty?

Hello, I already solved the gps issue and you just have to tighten the back screws since the gps antenna is on the inside cover and if they are loose it does not make good contact. I did it and it worked.

I have no problems with the GPS since it works well, however I have a bigger problem, which is that the phone runs out of Internet service, I have already done a factory reset about 2 times and it does not pull. I took it to Samsung from Telcel and they told me "It is reported as stolen ..." But if I bought it, how can it be reported, and if it continues to work 70% of the time, how can it be reported, if it is supposed to be? crash COMPLETELY. I hope in any case with Lollipop this is composed.

Same case, the GPS does not work for me in waze or in googlemaps .. it traces the route and never follows it to the ninngun side "looking for GPS NETWORK" ... and it rarely moves there after 5 minutes ...
I did not have this problem in note 1 or 2.

is there any rom, in which if it works? I haven't tried the screw thing but it sounds like a good last hope. 🙂
