MIUI 8 will bring multi-window mode for multitasking

MIUI 8

Yesterday we learned that Google will not bring by default the multi-window on Nexus devices launched this year with Android N. This does not mean that it cannot be used, as it is available if some manufacturer wants to use it For its custom layers, the only thing that Google does not see this feature ready at the moment to present it as one of the main ones as it does with many others.

The MIUI 8 custom layer was unveiled last month and earlier this month the beta version ROM was available for download. A MIUI 8 with great attention to design as it happens with each of Xiaomi's terminals, key to its success and for which it has always been related. If we already talk about the characteristics and changes of MIUI 8, now we pay attention to one of its key features that will come in the ROM and that we did not know.

We have seen this feature already present for a long time in the Samsung Galaxy Note and Galaxy S in order to empower multitasking On Android, although we always have the feeling that it consumes excessive battery consumption when we divide the screen in two to have a messaging app on one side, while on the other we write some notes of a job for the university.

This feature is present in MIUI 8 and allows dividing the screen with that feature of multi-window for multitasking. The way it does it is in parallel so that two tasks can be completed at the same time. It is precisely the functionality that will not be present by default in Nexus devices.

The interesting thing about this novelty is that it will not be part of the first public version of MIUI 8, but it will arrive in an update for the next few months of the ROM.
