La game base of Might & Magic: Chess Royale is simply awesome and the only thing we have missed is that extra content such as leagues, rewards and even leaderboards. It is precisely what comes in this new and great update that prepares the way so that when we return to the main screen we can spend a few minutes unlocking and looking at what to do.
And it is that until today the updates of this great battle royale game, and that we have included in this list of 4 exceptional online multiplayer games, had been based on improving the game mechanics. With this we do not say that this update completes the game, since we miss new modes or that we are able to face regionally or locally with more players. Go for it.
March to glory, the new update
According to the team in charge of the design of Might & Magic: Chess Royale, those updates dedicated to the improvement and optimization of the game core, and thus get to those delicacies that will put the icing on the cake.
This update called "March to Glory", is mainly dedicated to giving gifts to players by meeting objectives and celebrating who the bravest players are.
We begin with leagues and that unlock limited cosmetic items in time. We have common rewards and league rewards. We must win trophies for the commons and when we have all done we will be able to obtain those of the league. A game that takes a few months but that looks great.
Unlock gifts based on trophies in Might & Magic: Chess Royale
On the one hand we have the common rewards from 0 to 4.000 trophies:
- You can unlock up to 12 avatars, 4 avatar frames and 9 emojis
- These rewards will not be reset and are the first step in the journey that awaits you in this battle royale.
- When you have all of them we can move on to those in the league.
All the league rewards when you pass 4.000 trophies:
- Unlock time-limited league rewards and they change every time a new league starts. We can compare it to the seasons of Fortnite or PUBG Mobile.
- All league rewards that we have unlocked are kept.
- The trophies will be reset to 4.000 every time a league ends.
We can access the avatar customization from the upper left corner and access those new emojis, frames and avatars earned by trophies.
The first league: Sandro's Servants
The first league takes us to Sandro's Servants, a necromancer who gives way to all those rewards. We have a total of 9 rewards: 2 avatars, 5 avatar frames and two Sandro emojis.
Apart from the league we have also the leaderboards and that are characterized by:
- Global leader board: see the top 100 players
- Local table: the 100 players with the most trophies from your country.
- The leader board can be accessed at the top right of the main menu.
As well new spells have been added and they are a total of seven: three common spells, 2 rare and 2 legendary. Synergies have been tweaked to balance the games as is the case with some units such as the Druid, the Green Dragon, and the Valkyrie.
Other details of this new update for Might & Magic: Chess Royale are:
- Improved and added new visual effects and sound effects
- Have fixed numerous bugs and among those that stand out the path that a unit follows after its death, or a solution to that moment in which the red dragon could not be used as an ultimate.
