Yesterday we published an article in which we talked about some of the benefits that will come from the hand of thefifth generation of the Xiaomi Mi Band, the world's best-selling activity tracker and that it could be officially presented throughout the month of August in its global version.
Today we have more information related to the Mi Band 5, information that comes from two images that have been leaked and where aesthetically we can hardly see changes with the previous generation. What does change is the charging system, since it will use the same system as the Mi Band 2 and 3.
As we can see in the image above, if confirmed with certain, the charging system of the Mi Band 5 will force us to introduce the device in a kind of capsule to charge it, instead of using the charging system of the Mi Band 4.
The reason for the change is most likely due to a cost issue, since if the benefits are increased, the price also increases and the only way to lower its price is through its included accessories, in this case, the charger.
According to this same source, the screen of the fifth generation of the Mi Band 5 will reach 1,2 inches, for the 0,95 that we can currently find in the Mi Band 4.
What we know so far about the Mi Band 5
Rumors related to the Mi Band 5 suggest that will integrate Amazon's Alexa inside, at least in the global version, which will allow us to interact through voice commands that the connected devices compatible with Alexa that we have installed in our home.
It will also include a menstrual cycle monitoring, blood oxygen sensor and almost certainly a global NFC chip, chip with which we will be able to pay for our purchases all over the world and not only in China as is the case with the Mi Band 4 that is currently on the market.
