Meizu prepares a smartwatch for its Blue Charm range

Meizu is a manufacturer that is growing at an impressive rate. The Chinese giant has managed to stand up to the almighty Xiaomi thanks to its impressive terminals Meizu MX4 and Meizu MX4 Pro.

We recently told you about the launch of the new Meizu Blue Charm range, created to offer devices at very attractive prices, competing directly with Mi (Xioami). An example of this success is the fact that in just 60 seconds the manufacturer sold 100.000 units of the Meizu M1 (Blue Charm). And now it seems that the Asian giant is preparing a smartwatch for its Blue Charm range.

This information has emerged through an image that has been leaked through the popular social network Weibo. In the image we can see a smartwatch with round dial. Considering that Meizu said at the time that the Blue Charm range would not be only for smartphones, it is more than likely that the manufacturer is preparing a really cheap smartwatch.

We don't know any of the technical characteristics that will bring this enigmatic Meizu smartwatch, but seeing the price of its smartphones, we can expect that the first smartwatch of the Asian manufacturer will have a very attractive price.

As for the release date, it is expected thate Meizu presents its first smartwatch before the end of this year 2015. If we take into account that the Blue Charm range has caused Meizu sales to grow 50% during the past month, I don't want to imagine the hit it will take when it launches a smartwatch with a circular dial and at a truly groundbreaking price.

A good move by the Asian manufacturer that knows that smartwatches are having an increasing weight in the sector. And considering that these devices were the big news last year, I am sure that this year, with the improvement in batteries, they will be even more successful. And the possibility of having a device of this type for less than 100 euros, I find it really interesting.
