A couple of weeks ago, Epic Games challenged Apple and Google by integrating their own purchasing system that bypassed the guidelines of both platforms and that allow them to get hold of 30% of each purchase. Both games have since been withdrawn from their respective stores.
As announced, season 4 of chapter 2 of Fortnite is now available, a new season where we can get many of the Marvel superheroes such as Ironman, Wolverine, Thor, Groot, Doctor Doom... below we show you the main novelties of the new season.
What's New in Fortnite Season 4

- Pleasant Park has been renamed the Domain of Doom. Other new locations are The Sentinel Graveyard as well as others found on the edges of the island.
- Drones with supplies surround the Quijet landing sites all over the map handing out not just weapons but hero abilities as well.
- Complete comic to discover how the heroes and villains have arrived on the island.
- The Boogei Down and the Log Shotgun are back
In order to get the superheroes, we must go through the checkout and get the battle pass, a battle pass that is priced at 950 bucks. For only 7,99 euros, we can get 1000 bucks. If we complete the battle pass, we will get 1.500 turkeys that we can invest in the next battle pass.
No more cross-play with iOS
As we all know, iOS users they will not be able to enjoy this new battle pass or any of the cosmetic items available even if they purchase it on another device.
But the problem goes further, since they won't be able to enjoy cross-play with other platforms, so that they can only continue playing with iPhone or iPad users. They will not be able to with other friends of Android, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch ...
On Android there is no problem, since despite not being available in the Play Store, we can continue downloading it directly from the Epic Games website.
