ANDROID ALERT !!, New Malware that affects 95% of Android terminals

Although I regret saying it, the headline is very clear and concise and it is that back in the month of April of this year 2015, a new Malware that affects 95% of Android terminals. Almost nothing, practically all Android devices in potential danger of being infected by this new and important security threat.

This new malware would make use of a vulnerability integrated in the libraries of all the Android versions known to date, including the latest version of Android 5.1.1 which is the latest Google mobile operating system.

This new malware that affects 95% of Android terminals, would make use of a security hole in libraries Stagefright, for the simple reception of a message MMS with video file, be able to take full control of our entire Android terminal to do what you want, including the control of the camera and microphones of our Android.

The worst of all this is that for us to be infected, we will not even have to open the aforementioned message, much less view its content, that is, this new malware for Android is capable of infecting us without even opening the attached video file which is the carrier of the malware.

Is there a solution for this new Android malware?

How could it be otherwise, Google has got down to work and has already created a patch that fixes this new vulnerability found in all known Android versions to date. This problem for Nexus terminals is negligible since it will be corrected soon, that if it is not already, through updates via OTA that each and every one of Google's Nexus terminals will receive.

The problem is the other users who do not have a Nexus terminal since we are once again in the hands of the different Android manufacturers who are the ones who have received the patch from Google and are the ones who have to correct the problem in their distributed terminals all over the world. A problem that surely be solved quickly in high-end Android terminalsThose that cost a good dough, but that, I personally would put my hand in the fire and surely I would not burn myself, if I dare to say that the lower mid-range Android terminals will never receive one of those security updates that correct this dangerous problem security on Android.

To finish, and even if it hurts to say it, This is one of the things in which Apple and its totally closed iOS operating system have a huge advantage.Since in a case of such a global alarm, we undoubtedly have a lot to learn from those of the "bitten apple" who would have already sent the OTA update to correct the problem in all their affected terminals in one go.
