See how Oppo's stress tests are

The Drop Test is not in fashion, but it seems to be a good week to publish articles about this type of test where the smartphone suffers a lot.

If during these days we have been able to see different resistance tests in high-end devices, such as the LG G Flex 2 or the Galaxy S6 Edge, now the Chinese company lets us enter their laboratories to see how they perform a resistance test to their terminals.

Many of the owners of an Oppo device describe their smartphones as tanks, thanks to the resistance of the materials used by the mobile phones of this Chinese company. Well, in a week where we have seen different Drop Tests on high-end terminals, the Chinese manufacturer is proud to publish a video with the different resistance tests they carry out within the factory.

In the video we can see how the Oppo R5 and the Oppo N3 are exposed to tough tests carried out by professional employees of the Chinese manufacturer. These tests are considered standard tests for all units as part of the production process. Therefore, nothing to see from the video that a Korean Youtuber made with her S6 Edge, smashing the terminal against the ground, over and over again.

In the video that lasts just a minute and a half, we see different parts of the test. In the first part, we see how the terminal is exposed to 25 kilos of pressure. The Oppo smartphone is placed inside a belt and the pressure on it drops three times. In the second part, the smartphone falls several times to a height of more than one meter. As you will see in the video, the Oppo resist these tests very well, making the Oppo phone remain practically the same.

We have always seen the different Drop Test for falls to the ground, but in this case we see that it is different. The mobile device undergoes the pressure of many kilograms and falls to the ground from more than 1 meter in height, all under a high quality in the resistance tests and with the very attentive gaze of the Chinese employees. Be that as it may, Oppo wants to demonstrate to the user that its terminals pass resistance standards during their production and that their manufacture is as serious as a large company in the mobile sector.
