LG will start rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow next week on the G4

With that Marshmallow released to Nexus devices in its final version days before the presentation of the new 6P and 5X, just at the beginning of this month of October, we were not going to take long to announce, the arrival of this new version from Android to the different smartphones that have the various manufacturers such as Sony, LG, Samsung and others.

Nor is that it's gonna be a race to be the first, but it does seem that we are going to have Marshmallow sooner than expected, something that supposes an improvement for those distribution figures that we usually approach each month and that put us before the reality of how there is a large percentage of terminals that continue to have old versions of Android. At least LG, has been one of the fastest has been to try that its users have Android 6.0 before others, since next week the deployment will begin in the brand new LG G4.

Marshmallow before Christmas

With Lollipop it was not until February that it began to reach different phones such as Sony, so that in the following months other manufacturers launched 5.0 to their terminals, until what has been summer where some were the ones who updated to 5.1.1. A version of Android that due to so many changes It has meant that the cycle of that update has been carried forward almost half a year or more.

So with one month of October, which we are still in the middle, let it be LG the one that advertises Marshmallow In its flagship G4, it means that we will access faster updates than what happened with the previous one.

This is due, first, to not having as many changes as Lollipop, and those three versions for developers that Google launched so that this new update could be better implemented to the different custom layers that various manufacturers have.

A good relationship

Another detail to take into account is the great relationship between LG and Google due to those Nexus that have managed to impact the market enough with successful sales. This also makes things easier for the Korean company to bring its updates, although the wish would have been that they did not forget their LG G2 that stayed on Android 5.0.2.

Chris Yie himself, LG's chief marketing officer, said: 'to be working face to face with Google, LG has been able to bring Android 6.0 to the G4 which has allowed us to get ahead of our direct competitors.»

In the end we are left with a new update that will arrive first to users who are in Poland, so that in the following days and weeks the other regions can have their Marshmallow ration on their phone.
