From various leakss, today was finally the appointed day for the South Korean company to present its new flagship, the LG G4. At an event held in the Big Apple, the Korean company has presented what is the replacement for the LG G3, a terminal with great features and that continues to maintain a design similar to that of its smaller brothers such as the G2.
So as you have seen these days, thanks to the leaked images, the terminal resembles its little brother, although the Koreans have wanted to innovate a bit and carry a curved screen on their star terminal.
There was not much surprise during the event in New York since, practically everything had been leaked from the new terminal. Be that as it may, although they were previously rumored specifications, we now have them confirmed, so let's see what technical characteristics the new LG flagship will have.
To begin with, we find that the LG has as a great novelty, a 5,5 ″ curved screen with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and QHD panel with a density of 535 ppi. Inside we find a Qualcomm 808 six-core processor and Cortex A57 + A53 for graphics, along with a 3 GB RAM memory. In the photographic section we find a rear camera of 16 Megapixels with aperture f / 1.8 which will allow us to take pictures as if it were a professional camera with an image stabilizer, dual flash, UHD recording, and an 8 MP front camera and f / 2.0 aperture. Other important features about the terminal is its 32GB internal storage with the possibility of expanding it via microSD and a 3.000 mAh removable battery. It has 4G connectivity, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, NFC, GPS and Slimport 4K. It will run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop under LG's UX 4.0 customization layer.
The device has measures that increase compared to the third generation of the same range, we are talking about 149.1 mm x 75.3 mm x 8.9 mm and a weight of 155 grams. In addition, the terminal has a leather back made by hand of different colors, as explained by members of the company, being the back case together with the camera and the screen the great attractions of this new Korean terminal.
Regarding its availability and price, it will first be launched in South Korea on April 29, however in Spain it is expected to be released between the end of May and the beginning of June.
