The Lenovo Z6 Pro, which was launched just over a week ago, is receiving a new update with firmware version '11.0.457'. There are many new changes and advancements in the new and improved ZUI custom skin this time around.
As such, Lenovo added the highly anticipated DC dimming technique to lower the brightness of the Z6 Pro. The device abandoned the old 'PWN - Pulse Width Modulation' technology to reduce glare due to its negative effects on users' eyes.
The latest update also visually modernizes the health app 'U'. It brings some new features like the addition of a manual switch to toggle night scene mode as needed, a messenger card to track the messenger in real time, and the dedicated HDR10 Ultra HD vision portal with a single tap.
There are some changes to the UI of the global search widget, and now users can stay up-to-date with the latest news.
Other changes include the addition of the battery percentage icon, full screen display, and improved 'Coldfront' liquid cooling system for smart use of resources. Additionally, it improves camera stability with detailed user experience and fixes issues like occasional app flickering, inaccurate Uhealth step counter, and battery management error.
Update improves overall system customization on Lenovo Z6 Pro. It is a major update aimed at improving the efficiency and performance of the device. This will also protect your eyes from unusual DWM flickering, with the new DC dimming technique.
The ZUI 11.0.457 update is rolling out in China and weighs 270.54 MB in size. Users, in various forums, reported on this. It may take some time to reach each unit and disperse globally.
