In the last edition of CES, the Taiwanese manufacturer presented its new range of ASUS Zenfone 2 smartphones, which stands out for using 4 GB of RAM, in addition to the ASUS Zenfone Zoom.

We knew that the manufacturer was preparing a version with a 5-inch screen instead of the characteristic 5.5-inch panel that the Zenfone range usually uses. Now the first images have been leaked, in addition to the technical characteristics of these versions of the ASUS Zenfone 2 with 5-inch screen.

These new versions with smaller screens will have a 720p resolution, in addition to having technical characteristics inferior to the ASUS Zenfone 2 with a 5.5-inch screen.

While it is true that, like its older brothers, this new range ASUS Zenfone 2 with 5-inch screen will continue to use a SoC Intel Atom, in this case it will be a less powerful version.

We have also learned that these new members of the Zenfone family will have 2 GB of RAM, in addition to support for LTE networks and Android 5.0 L under the arm. Of course, ASUS will implement its custom Zen UI layer.

Otherwise it is a mystery. No details have been leaked about the battery and the camera that will integrate this decaffeinated version of the ASUS Zenfone 2.

Rumors suggest that ASUS will present its new range of devices on March 9 and that will initially be available in red, although the available range could be expanded in the future.

As for the price, it is another of the great mysteries although, if we take into account the sale price of the different ASUS Zenfone, we can calculate that this version of the ASUS Zenfone 2 with a 5-inch screen will not have a price higher than 150 euros .

Now we have to wait to see if finally ASUS decides to bring this new range of devices to our country because, if they really launch it at an attractive price, it can be a real success in Spain.
