Current mobile phones have a refresh rate that no one imagined a few years ago, which we know thanks to the fact that the manufacturers confirm in their technical data sheet. Many are those who want to know in real time who is using the mobile device at that moment.
If your smartphone has a higher than 60 Hz it is best to know the one you are using depending on what you are doing with your terminal. Depending on the needs, he will use or not a higher-ranking one, for example playing titles that require an update from time to time.
How to know the refresh rate of your phone in real time
The refresh rate tends to adapt, so that the normal hertz in daily use will not exceed the medium range, depending on the requirement it will go up. At least that is how we have been seeing it in an application that will tell us the Hz using applications and with various video games.
Display Checker will show us by means of an indicator the Hz of use in real time, in the most basic and maximum needs it is around 60 Hz in a Moto E5 Play. The phone will not make excessive use depending on the tasks, for example when using Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook.
To activate the refresh rate in real time at all times you have to install the application and follow these steps with the app open:
- Open Display Checker on your Android phone
- Once open go to the fourth option and activate "Show Real-Time Refresh Date", it will show you above other apps, click yes
- Now you will have the Hz in real time on the screen at all times
The phone goes down to 40-45 Hz in applications such as the usual ones as they do not require hardly any refreshment, when playing games, it stays at 60 Hz maximum for touch sampling. This happens in low-end phones, but not so much in devices with a higher refresh rate.
In a Huawei P40 Pro the base application starts from 60 Hz, while increasing to 90 Hz playing titles like Among Us, Tumble Guys or some more demanding like Call of Duty: Mobile. It ranges from 80 to 90 Hz in higher range tasks and shows a fixed rate.
