We do not expect poor performance in the new and upcoming Kirin 810 that will be showing in a few hours, but a performance really competitive that will surely give us something to talk about. And, before it becomes official, we can confirm that this will be the case: the chipset will be amazing, and more than anything in the AI section, based on the new information detailed below.
AI Benchmark has squeezed the juice out of the aforementioned System-on-Chip to rate its capabilities and thus compare them with those of the Kirin 980, Snapdragon 855 and others more, and you will not believe it, but it has passed them in the Artificial Intelligence tests.
It seems that the Kirin 810 is a complete beast. In the lists that we show below you can see that the processor, which is aimed at the mid-range premium, surpasses the Kirin 810, Snapdragon 855, Mediatek Helio P90 and Exynos 9820, among others, in tests related to AI tasks, while the second list shows that it is equipped in the Nova 5 and also leaves behind the aforementioned chipsets, which are fitted to the Asus Zenfone 6, Oppo Reno Z and LG V50 ThinQ 5G, respectively.
The list on the right shows the specifications of the mobile platform. In it we can see that it consists of eight cores, how could it be otherwise, and reaches a base frequency of 1.87 GHz thanks to its four Cortex-A55 cores of efficiency and a maximum frequency of 2.27 GHz thanks to the work of its colors Cortex-A76.
The test result may be influenced by the great job Huawei has done with Kirin 810 NPU. In comparison, this was developed by the same company and not by another, as was the NPU of the Kirin 980. We will soon be able to further detail the capabilities of this processor, once it is officially launched in the Nova 5.
