We already knew a few days ago more rumors about the Galaxy S8 in relation to the use of optical fingerprint recognition, with what the sensor will be integrated into the screen itself. If we remember a phone that has a sensor implemented on the same screen, we have to think of the Xiaomi Mi MIX.
And if we think that Samsung was the first company to mass-produce those Galaxy S6 edge and S7 edge, it would not be too crazy to think, that who better than samsung to have a Galaxy S8 ready with a screen similar to that of the Xiaomi concept smartphone. Apart from leaving the other competitors to the drag with a phone that would get the best reviews, it would get rid of that bad publicity received with what has happened with the Note 7.
An ace up the sleeve for Samsung?
When writing the previous entry and rethinking the same idea that Samsung will presumably incorporate an optical sensor integrated into the screen, added to the fact that a manager of the company itself has declared that they will play it for a renewed design, how cannot it be that, if Xiaomi has been able to launch a Mi MIX With a smartphone without bezels, is not Samsung capable?
What company do you have experience in mass manufacturing edge display terminals with curved sides? What would it cost to bring those same sides to the top if Xiaomi has done it too? The Chinese manufacturer has had to come up with a new way of understanding a headset to be able to make calls, and Samsung will incorporate an optical fingerprint sensor that will be on the same screen, so you can play with the shapes and launch something quite surprising.
Some might say it can't be, because Xiaomi can only manufacture 10.000 units of the Mi MIX per month, but this is because it is made entirely of ceramic. The bump would be that headset that we have no information about, but Xiaomi has been able, why not Samsung?
A very hard blow for the rest of rivals
Maybe that Galaxy S8 with a screen without bezels was a project for the future S9 or S10, but the big problem with the Galaxy Note 7 has possibly made them need a very shocking novelty to kill several birds with one stone; I do not say two, but several. On the one hand, the bad publicity of the Note 7 that has hurt the prestige of the brand, on the other, it has the Google Pixel that will take away customers in that high-end that it boasts on Android and, incidentally, would almost leave it on the canvas to an Apple that is looking at the shrews when the Mi MIX and virtual reality appear through the window without almost realizing it.
It is also a risk that Samsung could take when trying to make a very big leap, although I reiterate what I said, there is no one better than the Korean manufacturer for that great step to be taken, since the S6 and S7 edge have been the foundation to bring us a smartphone that is merely a screen and we have the same sensations that that famous youtuber that we all know and that fell in love with the Xiaomi Mi MIX got.
There is nothing wrong with dreaming, but having a Galaxy S8 without bezels and with the quality that Samsung usually offers to its phones, would be something almost ideal and a bestseller if everything goes smoothly. Another thing would be that it had a serious problem somewhere, since it would be the end for Samsung. As man lives by dreams, we will see if through these leaks the future Galaxy S8 is drawn, although it does not have that design without bezels of the Mi MIX, surely that change in the forms and visual appearance will suppose many satisfactions.
