iQOO wanted to announce at CES 2021 a new high-end smartphone with the most powerful processor in the Qualcomm line inside. iQOO 7 is already a reality after several leaks, one of them after passing by AnTuTu benchmark and score about 750.000 points.
At the moment the phone with this powerful processor initially arrives in China, but given the secrecy, the date of arrival in Europe is not known. iQOO will depend to a great extent on Vivo, the last one landed months ago in Spain with the launch of different terminals at a moderate price.
iQOO 7, a flagship of guarantees
iQOO 7 bets on a 6,62-inch AMOLED-type panel, put aside the IPS LCD panels to see that the performance is remarkable when using games, applications and playing even videos. It is a Full HD + with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a ratio of 20: 9 and includes HDR10.
The processor on board is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888, the most powerful today and whose performance makes it move any type of title on the market. Accompanying it is the high-performance Adreno 660 graphics chip, 8/12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a storage of 128/256 GB, the first UFD 3.1, the second UFS 2.1.
There are three rear cameras, at least one other can be blamed, either macro or depth, all to support the main one. The main sensor is 48 megapixels, the second is a 13 megapixel telephoto lens and the third is a 13 megapixel ultra-wide angle. The front camera is 16 megapixels, it comes as the only sensor.
Ultra fast charging battery
If something stands out apart from its Snapdragon 888 processor it is on fast charge, it is at 120W, so it will charge it in just 15 minutes from 0 to 100%. The charger that accompanies it is the perfect one, USB-C type and suitable if you need it in a while before going somewhere, either to work or for a walk.
It has a capacity of 4.000 mAhIt is enough at the time of our day to day, it will be necessary to see if it can hold out for a few hours at the moment of truth with the games, it may be too small in that matter. When making use of the terminal, the use will be much greater, using it by phone for conventional applications.
Connectivity and operating system
By including the Snapdragon 888 chip it will be a 5G device under the NSA / SA networks, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and it has a USB-C charging port. The good thing is that you can use a 65W charger if you don't want to use the 120W one, but it would be wasting this advantage over other smartphones.
The operating system with which it arrives is Android 11, the latest version with all the patches for December and arriving in January, especially corrections. The custom layer is OriginOS, will become a great alternative to those available, with the most used apps.
