Huawei maintains a high rate of presentations of new devices in this 2020. The Shenzhen company has decided to present three new products for the basic range catalog, in which it adds two new phones from the Y series and a tablet from the MatePad line.
The presentation was carried out in Romania, the site chosen by Huawei to announce the Huawei MatePad T8 tablet and Huawei Y5P and Huawei Y6P phones. As if that were not enough, all three dispense with Google services (GMS) to rely on HMS (Huawei Mobile Services) under the Android 10 system.
Huawei y5p
Of the two presentations it is the less powerful, since the Huawei Y5P rests on a 5,45-inch screen TFT LCD type, 18: 9 aspect ratio and classic bezels surround the panel. The phone integrates a Helio P22 processor, 2 GB of RAM and a storage space that amounts to 32 GB and expandable via MicroSD.
The battery of this device is 3.020 mAh with a standard charge through MicroUSB, to which it adds 4G connection, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC as standard. The pre-installed software is Android 10 with the EMUI 10.1 custom layer and comes with the company's suite of applications pre-installed, including AppGallery.
El Huawei Y5P adds a rear fingerprint reader next to the only included camera, it is quite useful for quick unlocking and dispenses with facial recognition. Already in the front it mounts a 5 megapixel selfie sensor and in the back it mounts an 8 megapixel sensor with LED Flash.
Huawei y6p
It is a device that you decide to install a 6,3 inch IPS LCD panel with HD + resolution, a better aspect ratio than the Y5P and the frame has a higher percentage, adding a notch in the shape of a water drop. The CPU is Helio P22 from MediaTek, 3 GB of RAM and the storage capacity reaches 64 GB (with the option of adding a MicroSD).
El Huawei y6p takes a leap in the battery, the capacity of this model is 5.000 mAh that will be charged through the MicroUSB port, it is a 4G phone, it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connections and it does not forget the NFC either. The operating system is Android 10 without Google services and uses EMUI 10.1 as its interface.
El Y6P It will install two more sensors than the Y5P, the main one is 13 megapixels, a secondary ultra-wide 5 megapixels, the third is a 2 megapixel Bokeh sensor and the front selfie camera is 8 megapixels. It also adopts by adding a fingerprint reader on the back.
Huawei MatePad T8
Nobody expected the launch of a new tablet by Huawei, despite this the company has Huawei MatePad T8 presented in Romania. This tablet incorporates an 8-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and on the front it is decided by a 2 megapixel lens.
Already under the chassis you can find an 8768-core MTK8 processor, 2 GB of RAM and two options of RAM, 16 or 32 GB, also expandable through a MicroSD card. The battery is 5.100 mAh with a standard charger and the software is Android 10 with EMUI 10.0.1 with Huawei mobile services.
Already in the back is an 8 megapixel camera, important if you want to take photos and video at a fairly decent quality. There will be a single version with Wi-Fi and LTE, while it is accompanied by Bluetooth connectivity and the MicroUSB port to charge it and also when transferring data.
